President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign has parted ways with Marc Elias, the election lawyer who helped arrange the “Russia collusion” hoax and filed many of the lawsuits that transformed voting to enable Biden’s win in 2020.

Merely trying to create some distance, to avoid any talk of conflict of interests, so Elias and his crew can do their thing all across the country.
While some have commented that the Moore suit had some issues, it would appear that the language is pretty clear. And SCOTUS ensured that people like Elias will continue to have a negative effect on elections for a long, long time.
Any state, county, city or town that may have tried to strengthen their voting laws will soon be getting a visit from Elias.
I wonder if Spalding County, Ga is in his sights.
False prophet Steve Bannon wants him working for the GOP.
His work is too valuable, particularly like a fake, failing and fraudulent candidate like Biden.
But Elias has drawn too much scrutiny, so he’s merely being taken “off the books” and being sent underground.
That means he is probably more dangerous and corrupt than ever.
Are they throwing folks under the bus now?

I can counter that argument in four words, Joe Biden, Barack Obama.
I don’t think they’re throwing Elias under the bus. He was a major, major, major player in suing legislatures and getting all sorts of voting rules/laws changed or suspended to help propagate the steal.
I’m thinking they’re cutting him loose to go berzerker on election laws, knowing that Ol’ CornPop is in real trouble this time around.
I think this is a preemptive case of, plausible deniability. “Hey, we fired that guy a months ago, we have no control over what he’s doing.”
The tell will be if he continues his activity and who the money is behind it.

Exactly my thought as well. To me, this just signals that the 2024 election scheme they have concocted is so corrupt and criminal that they need to put some distance between the party and Elias, the chief perpetrator. Plausible deniability.

I see your point, but Marc Elias is an extreme bad guy. His major (but not only these) achievements were to get these guys elected.
