I think it’s probably the “tight” and “I thought she was a cheerleader” that did him in more than the Barbie. Remember part of the Redskins scandal was team management emailing around naked pictures of cheerleaders.
It’s probably the only sports team in the country that would need anything more than an apology. But this one needs to be so squeaky clean right now, they have to take hard stands and banish the Snyder taint. In the end this is a case of not reading the room. Which is terminal in any job.
