The other natural substance that has been shown to benefit psoriasis is nigella sativa (black cumin).

The drug low-dose natrexone is good for all auto-immune diseases; but it is not yet FDA approved in low dose, and so not yet covered by medicare part D.

LDN is so dirt cheap that it doesnt really matter that Medicare doesn’t cover it. 1 50 mg pill lasts awhile depending on how small a dose you take. The problem is finding a Doctor who will prescribe it.

My Rheum. Dr. won’t because he says there is not enough evidence that it works. So I had to go about getting it for weight loss. However, I cant get a compounding prescription so I have to chop it up and very hard to get it small enough. I think it caused me a problem because my dosing was too high. I need smaller pieces

I am going to try it in water when I start it again.
