FR use to be a great source of insightful knowledge and commentary regarding current events.
Threads on the Ukraine-Russian conflict read like the narrative of a purse fight.
I would also say if we had FR in 1939, a lot of the threads about the War in Europe would have pretty much gone the same way. Everybody calling each other “Hitler Lover”, “Stalin Lover”, “Limey Lover”, or worst of all, “FDR Lover”.
The last video I watched showed a bunch of Ukrainian armored vehicles getting caught in a minefield. Once they were in the minefield they started getting hit with heavy artillery. The vehicles were exploding one after the other. It was hard to watch knowing that men were in those vehicles waiting for their turn to explode. I don’t understand why they keep making the same mistakes over and over? It’s like Joe Biden is in command.

Mass murder, depopulation, population replaced with Russian nationals, food weaponized, entire cities erased. We’ve seen this genocidal movie before from the filth of the Russian World.

I don’t know exactly what is going on here, but I do know enough to not blindly swallow the media spin and to also be suspicious of whatever the current narrative is. When I don’t know what is true and what is not, I’ve had pretty good success in looking at who is lining up on which side and choosing accordingly. If Biden and company are for something, I default to being against it. I’ve never once seen him be on the right side of literally anything.
