The A10 is awesome, if only it could get there and back. Look at what’s happening to a lot of SU-25 frogfoots, the A-10s brother.

The problem is that you have to get there and hopefully back, and in today’s world of SAMs, radar, IADS... Something with a huge radar and thermal profile isn’t survivable against a capable threat.
