We need to secure the borders. That said, we have a labor shortage. We have a generous welfare state. We have millions of retired Baby Boomers. Our birth rate is low. Back in the '50s, we could kick out the illegals and we didn't suffer for it.

Quit paying people to NOT work and you’ll have plenty of workforce. Too many welfare sucking freeloaders are the problem. Unless they have a genuine debilitating health issue, cut them off.
