What the heck is going on in the peabrains of F1 ?

If memory serves, it seems turn four has caused a couple of fatal accidents in the last few years as well as some life changing injuries to the living. Now there is some push back by drivers to lessen the potential for such accidents. I haven’t seen any particulars related to the story. It’s all probably a function of the nasty downhill uphill left right left after the start.

To be quit honest, I would have done well to bring a co-driver.

Arrangements were very impromptu, so I had zero time to study the track and just drove it cold.

Did ya bet up speed for the famous corner? (Name escapes me right now)

I have reced it in Sims, and it’s a very tricky corner, but fun as heck when you nail it jusy right and maintain speed through it. Lots of fun watch your opponent beside you or in front of you drop off peak speed when they miss it slightly, then fall behind as you head down the straights. (I’m not sure though if I’d have the guts to go flat out in a real car there though)

Au Rouge? It’s actually not that tricky, unless you try to be stupid.

The top, Radillion isn’t bad either, it’s just that when accidents happen there, usually during races, cars bounce back onto the track. That’s how the last 2 drivers died there.

Can’t really fix or widen that area either.

They’re driving there now, in the rain, as I type this.

Yeah, don’t want that area fixed- it’s the perfect corner when drag racing another driver trying to get ,the lead through it.
