Marijuana was a thing. Smelled it the first time while singing in the band room. They did not use those back rooms just for practising
With collared shirts and ties
I had to wear ties on gamedays too. Wasn’t happy about it.
There was a short time when bib overalls were popular.
Because...the talk was great!
Nobody cared to be on camera...unlike today’s Tik Tok extroverted, me-me generations
And halter tops.... lord how I loved those halter tops...
And since it was a double album, some of them might have used the inside to shake the seeds out of their weed and stuff.

“ Class of 78 Baby!”
Me too. Senior Class President If you can believe that.
L
What a great year.
it was an odd time
Do you see where the letters “S-E-X” were in her hair?
It was phenomenon. I remember having a T-shirt with that image was considered the ultimate thing to have for a while. I was more of a Morgan Fairchild guy at the time, and had her poster on my wall, but most everyone else had Farrah.
The other things we discussed, were, things like who is the better US band? Boston, Kiss, Ted Nugget, AC/DC, or Van Halen (who had just arrived and we were trying to figure out).
yup
Aren’t you too young to know this?
Man, you are too much. I know better than to ever doubt you though.
First concert I went to: Grand Funk Railroad.

That’s what we did, we argued about who the better guitarist, drummer was.
In my school, your band, was your identity. Everybody knew who everybody’s favorite band was.
Had a friend, big REO Speedwagon fan. Always wore their T-Shirts to school (like Adam Sandler in ‘Billy Madison’)
That was, until ‘Hi Infidelity’ came out. I asked him why I never saw him wearing REO Speedwagon shirts anymore, and he told me, “I’m never listening to that effing band again!”, he said they turned into a “chick band”.
