100 NYC public school children have listed their gender as 'X' instead of 'male' or 'female' after America's largest school district allowed the choice

More than 100 New York City public school children have listed their gender as 'X' - instead of male or female - after the district allowed the choice last year.

'X' is meant to encompass any student who identifies as non-binary, gender expansive or gender fluid - and is similarly an available option on birth certificates in the city.

The form has been in place for one year - and the data for 2022-23 shows that 108 schoolkids in the NYC public system chose X.

It equates to around .01 percent of the district's 1.1million population.

The enrolment form has to be signed off by a parent or guardian of the minor.

The form is used to indicate to teachers how to speak to the child.

The form made clear: 'The option you select does not have to match your student's birth certificate or other documentation.'

'X – Neither Female nor Male: My student does not identify as female or male (for example, identifies as non-binary, gender expansive, or gender fluid),' it read.

As well as that, kids were able to write a different chosen name to the one on their legal documentation.

There is a suggestion, however, that 108 figure may not be the official number of children who do not want to identify as either male or female, because the paperwork requires parental consent.

Non-binary students may not be comfortable discussing the topic with their family, some claim.

Separate enrolment data from 2021-22 showed that 300 students in the whole of New York State identified as non-binary.

'New York City Public Schools is committed to providing a safe, equitable and affirming school environment for every student in our school building,' education department spokesperson Jenna Lyle wrote in a statement.

'Affirming students' gender identities is of paramount importance.'

This is why you don’t give CHILDREN such “choices”.
It’s like asking them if they want cookies or vegetables for dinner.

Exactly, our children learn about playing dressup on TikTok, piercing their noses and castration, while the Chinese learn Quantum Physics

There are a lot more than 100 NYC public school teenagers that can't read or write and the only letter they know is X.

These students will proudly graduate as a failure to do so would violate DEI mandates.

Maybe to avoid discrimination.

Sounds about right.

The percentage who will still identify as “X” will drop to .001% when puberty ends.

Odds are, that’s how they have to sign their names too.

“X” is also how they will sign their names in the future because these teachers will no longer teach kids to read.
