It is no longer 1937. So maybe next
they will dispose of, or remake, their
classics
Pinocchio—Geppeto is a crude stereotype
of Italians
Alice in Wonderland—curioser and curioser
she is transitioning to male
Peter Pan—What makes the red man red?
Offensive to Native Americans, they feel
(Song of the South continues to lack
official DVD release, too)
Mary Poppins—England? No way, the
remake takes place in Africa
When did Disney ever do that?
Almost all their animated classics are Grimm Brothers tales that fell out of copyright. Disney has rarely created new stories.
Hi Ho! Hi Ho! To DollarTree shelf we go!....................
Even Bambi was a old 1923 German book story...............

Translated into English in 1928 by................drum roll please.............. Whittaker Chambers!...........
“the dilemma emerges in that the vocal and active core of the company’s employee base - from parks to movies - is disproportionally LGBT obsessed”
Well, that aught to cease to be a problem when Disney can no longer afford to pay those employees.
Interesting that the woke Disney doesn’t like White women or Dwarfs.
They seem to also have a problem with Black men in lead roles.
A few combinations that made them a ton of money.
> I still think it’s highly unlikely that Disney will ever actually die.
Neither will other dominant American brands like Kodak or Polaroid.
.... and Sears, K-Mart, JC Penny’s, Montgomery Wards, W.T. Grant, Woolworths, etc....................
They are redoing ‘Bambi’.................
or Pan Am.
“Meanwhile, Clary is also right that the creative genius of Disney has been stunted.”
Well, when your “creative” people only think about one thing…
When will stock holders demand accountability for this mindless suicide and willful destruction of a once profitable business?
Has Disney ever produced something ‘original’?
Seems like they just buy other peoples creative accomplishments and make a movie or cartoon
from it......................
Such a shame. Walt was a tough businessman, even ruthless at times, but was a great American who loved the USA so much he rebuilt the “Main Street” entrance to his Disneyland and DisneyWorld to replicate it.
If you are old enough to remember his “Walt Disney Presents” shows in the late 50s/early 60s like “Davy Crockett,” “Texas John Slaughter,” and “Mike Fink?”
I grew up watching Disney every Sunday night..................
Mickey and Donald, maybe?
Devouring the Golden Goose until it’s nothing but dust and ashes IS the 21st century American Way. That and fascism.
Gay men will want to hire other gay men, and will sabotage straight men in order to make room.
You would have to root out and fire every gay at Disney to fix this.
