Thank you, but disagree.

Asking God to reveal himself is not putting Him to the test.

It is the cry of a human heart seeking to know the truth about God.

“ You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

He always rewards those that seek Him.

God also continues to reveal Himself through creation, through His Word, through Christ appearing in dreams to Muslims, through the witness of believers, and through drawing men to Himself.

If you wish to discuss any of that either pm me or begin a thread.

Best.

Again, you press forward with an eisegesis of bad theology.
Please reference the exegesis found in the other citations.

God is \singularly\ revealed to us by Scripture alone.
Sola Scriptura.
Not by our vain efforts to conjure His presence “in our heart”.
Isiaih 64:6ff “All my thoughts and works are filthy rags”

No matter how you spin it, the prayer is a demand to God.

Only by hearing, reading and inwardly-digesting the Word of God is God revealed to man.
No other venue or outlet is legitimate.
