I gave up reading in bed, so that isn’t a concern of mine. And yes, even the booklite” throws off a lot of light and will disturb one’s spouse.
I have to read at least a little, otherwise I’ll get to fretting about things. With a book, I’ll follow a side thought related to what I’m reading, and fall asleep before I know it. Then the Kindle turns itself off after a few minutes.
