An ex-Department of Defense (DoD) official made some out-of-this-world claims about UFOs on Monday.
Christopher Mellon, a former deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence and Senate staffer, told NewsNation host Chris Cuomo that a congressional hearing scheduled for Wednesday provides an “opportunity” to better understand the issue from credible sources.
[...]
Planned by a House Oversight subcommittee, the hearing on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) is set to feature testimony from two former Navy pilots who claim to have witnessed mysterious flying objects that appear to defy the laws of physics while participating in training exercises.
Also announced as a witness was David Grusch, a U.S. military and intelligence veteran who has gone public with allegations about crafts of non-human origin being retrieved and kept from Congress.
Lending some credence to Grusch’s assertions about a cover-up, Mellon said he has been told that “we have recovered technology that did not originate on this earth by officials in the Department of Defense and by former intelligence officials,” some of whom he has referred “to the office that is undertaking this investigation.”
Mellon also said he expects Grusch “will provide some new information that we have not heard before” at the hearing, but he stressed that Grusch is limited by law in what he can reveal, including identifying intelligence personnel who may be involved in the matter.

People should only talk about the border or Biden's criminal activity or how Wokeness is destroying the country or how Hunter misplaced his cocaine in the library., .;-)
Agree.
Yes, is a conversation needed about them and what the G14-Classified folks know about them.
But there are far more pressing and immediate issues that will become long lasting that need to be addressed.
There are plenty of whistleblowers out there.
The mass media won’t cover most of them—and most folks don’t believe them anyway.
Here are a couple for you:

Raytheon, Northrop and Lockheed have Been making manmade replicas for years and using them for their own purposes. That’s the majority of what people are seeing and identifying as UFO’s. Dr. Scott Greer speaks extensively about it in a two part interview with Shawn Ryan on his Vigilance elite podcast.
“How do they know they didn’t come from our earth? They could be living in the ocean or deep in the earth. Who knows?”
Exactly right.
I would not call David Fravor(Sp?) former USN aviator a flat Earth moron. They do not let morons fly multi million dollar US Naval jets off of aircraft carriers.
I would suggest you watch his interview with Joe Rogan or Lex Friedman.
They have physical, radar, optical evidence that these “UAP objects” defy the “laws of gravity” as we know. Not only in the air but in and out of the ocean.
Another “shiny thing” to distract from the Bidens’ treason etc.
I think we all know that there are alien bodies and craft in the corrupt govt’s hands, somewhere.
Perhaps.
But, as each day goes by I’m mre and more convinced that the Deep State only exists because of the voters.
Oh it is true that Newton had an eclectic mind, was fascinated by much and did many things to support himself and advance his career. For instance after concluding that the concept of the Trinity was false, he became an Anglican priest so that he could become at Professor at Oxford ( ironically at Holy Trinity College within Oxford). If he were alive today, no doubt he would be fascinated by the subject of UFOs but his conclusions may not have comforted today’s avid believes in the phenomena. All human beings unlike other species have a capacity for mysticism. This neurological capability is probably at the core of research, imagination, wonderment and creativity. Its not to say all mystical conclusions or beliefs held by individuals are valid. Yet without a mystical capacity, human progress would occur at a glacial pace.
I'm not sure what to make of Greer lately. He's all alone in his theories and is angry as hell at the rest of the UFO "community."
He has become something of an enigma. Some people are loyalty to him and others call him a charleton and narcissist.
Rather than extrapolate from limited data, let’s see what this guy can add to the body of public knowledge, eh?
Only from the American people. The USSR was well represented at Los Alamo.
“How do they know they didn’t come from our earth?”
Well, when they recovered the saucer, it had “Made in Proxima Centauri” stamped on the bottom, maybe.
The only people NOT interested in talking about baseball this year are Yankees and Red Sox fans.
FYI, WEEI in Boston(Sports radio station)this morning spent most of their drive time reviewing Belichick’s news conference from yesterday.
Oh and by the way, the Sox took 2 of 3 from the Mets over the weekend series. Nobody cares. Bruins and Celtics were a disappointment. How bout them Pats?
Find him and force him to speak at these hearings. We'll get to the bottom of everything. Cameramen and women have all the needed videos in those top secret films Fox must have in their vaults. It is also possible mere citizens have DVD copies of these documentaries to share.
It will blow everyone's minds! I saw these as a kid, and felt privileged.
Also, the other documentary series, called “Stargate SG-1,” is another everyone in Congress needs to see. There are so many civilizations we already know about!
I know everyone is onboard with me, on these.
Yes, but when Einstein introduced a new theory of gravitation, he didn’t just wave away Newton. The flaws in Newton’s theory were already apparent by then. And he came up with a new theory that addressed those flaws.
So it makes no sense to wave away Einstein until we can pinpoint the flaws in his theory and propose another theory to address them.
“Would love to canvass the Chairpersons of the Department of Physics from America’s 25 best universities and ask if any of them would state that UFOs are mechanical and biological entities originating from 50 to 100 light years away.”
I mean, from what we currently understand about physics, that would seem to be the absolute least likely scenario. It’s more probable that some unknown tribe in the Amazon independently invented space travel than that these are from outside the solar system.
You don’t know that. It is your surmise
We have discussed Greer before—he has many strengths and many weaknesses over several decades:
Strengths:
—Determination to pressure .gov for disclosure
—Solid researcher
—Adventurous and creative
Weaknesses:
—Fraudster at times
—Ego the size of the galaxy
—Takes credit for other people’s work, or refuses to acknowledge their contribution
In other words he is very human.
Given his weaknesses he is not a “go to” source for me, but I will occasionally listen to what he has to say.
