Omar Sheriff Thornton killed eight and wounded two after making outlandish claims about the work environment of his employer, Hartford Distributors, of Manchester CT, back in 2010.

He claimed to have found nooses and "racial epithets" in the bathroom. Other black employees of Hartford Distributors denied there was any racism there.

Thornton had been fired for stealing from his employer just moments before he commenced his attack.

He killed himself before he could be taken into custody. I didn't count him among the eight killed.
