All it takes is one fool to ruin the cruise for everybody.
If this trend of people jumping off continues, the cruise ships may have to make some tough decisions.
Maybe shorten the time they spend looking for people who may have gone over the side. Shorten the time by a lot.

The Roald Dahl story comes to mind too.
