Cars were seen lining up outside Carlee Russell's Alabama home on Sunday, just a day after her 26th birthday.
A dozen cars lined the driveway and around the home, and drew the attention of police in Hoover, Alabama, who drove past the home as people entered and left.
Police said Russell delayed additional requests to interview her again about her supposed July 13 disappearance. Russell vanished after calling 911 to report a toddler wandering along an Alabama highway.

She’s a con artist. Lock her up.
In the interest of clarity from the article:
“Crime Stoppers announced on Sunday they will not be returning the more than $63,000 raised during the two-day search for Russell”
If I understand it correctly, Crime Stoppers isn't saying they'll never return the money to donors. They're saying their own rules prevent them from doing it right now because the case is still under investigation.
Yes, thats most likthe case. Also,my point was as I understand it, SHE doesn’t have control of the money.
Of course the headline has been misleadingly sensationalized to make you thi k she has it.
Having said all that, she broke more than one law and needs to be arrested and behind bars but it looks like the law is afraid to do their job for some reason.
Looks like she lives a privileged life. She just wanted some fame and a little extra money. My prediction: she gets NO jail time and no fine. Just 20 hours of community service polishing the logos on Mercedes’ cars.
they should return the $$$ but want to keep their cut.
When can we expect an arrest of her kidnappers?
I’m not sure people who donated on the strength of such a dodgy story deserve to get their money back.
I wonder if she finally got her birthday puppy.
P.T. Barnam was right all along
