I’ve personally watched em go into a Lowes, take a shopping cart and go to the ladder section. Then, take a ladder, go to the electrical section and use the ladder to get up high to where full cartons are stored, load two carts chock full of panels, breakers, outlets, Romex, etc. and just walk out the door with it... NOT one single solitary soul, including myself, was gonna interfere with their “reparations”.
It’s unsustainable. At some point, something has to be done.
Stores will be closed, jobs will be lost, then the criminals will turn on each other................
I wonder what the reaction from Lowe's management would have been if these thieves were of a more "melanin challenged" demographic.

Consumers, employees, and stockholders are suffering because company managements find it easier on them and and less risky legally to let thieves walk out the door. Stores are closing. A legislative fix is needed. Ignore the libertarian objections.
