When you check the author's background, it looks like the first job after college was in January 2016. So it's very likely that Noa Halff has no idea who this Swift person is that you reference.

Whereas Noa Halff most likely has watched every Star Wars movie ever made, and probably more than once. That would explain the reference to a Star Wars movie. That, and the intended audience this person writes to probably has no idea who this Swift person is, either.
