The place was packed with women dressed as Barbie.
What was really unusual is 60% of them clearly didn’t live in this part of Scottsdale.
It almost looked like they were paid to go to this film.
Barbie is nuking Oppenheimer.
more proof we are retarded
But let’s face it. No one is going to a Barbie movie if they care about “plot” and “character development”. It is something for little girls to watch and adults to endure.
Pity it has a bad story, but did that stop Avatar? A significant number of people will go to a movie to see colorful pixels flash by their eyes...
For years I’ve thought that when raising children, the biggest problem isn’t other kids. It’s stupid parents. This movie being so well attended is proof.
It’s for females…
I do not understand all the hoopla over a movie about a doll. Is this where we are now as a society? The biggest news story over the last week or so has been about a 1960’s era plastic doll. Geesh.....
Right now the domestic take for the weekend for Barbie is running only 10 mil more than the movie’s budget.
And I’ll bet it tanks after this weekend.
Even Hollyweird’s oddball accounting practices won’t be able to make that sow’s ear into a silk purse
It’s not about the doll.
It’s about the message Hollyweird is trying to sell women and girls.
I can make unhealthy popcorn at home. Not a problem.
Yes, one is meant as a blockbuster for females, the other to get the truth out to certain adults.
Sound of Freedom is already a massive success. I wasn’t stating otherwise.
I was being accurate and truthful without opinion or emotion.
Running time for Oppie is 3+ hours. Too long. I will watch it on streaming when it comes on for "free" one of these days. Probably in two sessions.
Lol. Whatever. Who cares.
Just got back from seeing Sound of Freedom.
How was it?
A 1960s plastic doll that still sells millions of copies today. Barbie is one of the most iconic toys ever. And on the girl’s side of the market THE most iconic toy ever. And like a lot of iconic toys they’ve built their own universe. Margot Robbie pitched it to the studio as Jurassic Park. All boys played with dinosaurs, look how much money those movies made. All girls played with Barbie, it’s gonna make bank.
Seems like it would be better suited to just going to home streaming. Kind of an odd choice for a movie in a theater.
May I recommend you give his podcast a try? He’s a hero in the fight against the trans madness.
Im surprised Oppenheimer didn’t do better
