A young Texas woman is suing the doctors who put her on testosterone at age 17 and botched her double breast removal the next year, saying they should have treated her for depression and anxiety instead.
Soren Aldaco, 21, says she was confused, autistic, depressed and anxious when doctors in Fort Worth and Austin encouraged her to become a boy, take cross-sex hormones and later have both breasts removed.
In her 29-page complaint, she says doctors acted more like 'ideologues', pushing her to transition, not discussing alternatives, and 'irreversibly disfiguring and disabling' her with a shoddy mastectomy.
That operation left her 'nipples literally peeling off of her chest,' and she will not be able to breastfeed and may be infertile, it is claimed. The hormone shots left her with a damaged vagina and other problems.
Aldaco filed her suit in Tarrant County, Texas, on Friday. She seeks a jury trial and more than $1million in damages.
'This lawsuit details a chronology of wrongful acts committed by a collective of medical providers who... administered a series of ruinous procedures and treatments,' the papers say.
Aldaco was a 'vulnerable teenager struggling with a slew of mental health issues' while also 'grappling with the universal challenges of adolescence and body image,' the papers say.

Blame the govt schools brainwashing kids they are screwed up and that wanting gender changes is normal.
I am so sick of people blaming others for choices they make. So tired of it.
It falls on the parents. These people ignore anyone who objects and they just keep doctor shopping until they find someone who will agree with them. So all they need is to finally find a liberal like minded doctor.
The doctors are not the kids legal guardians.

She was a child legally at 17.
Her parents and the medical field should have all said NO!
Now when she turned 18 whatever but when she’s a minor that is a different story.
I read at least once a week of these mistreated minors wishing their transition never happened. There are also many who made the decision and regret and trying to de-transition back to their original sex.
The Federal government will do some executive order protecting these doctors from any lawsuit.
Wanna know why? If this goes through then next we will see people suing Pfizer for the fake vaccine damages. Big pharma won’t allow that so they will donate money to whoever they need to because they know if the trans lawsuits succeed, they will be next.

Parents are often duped by medical “professionals” who convince them their sons and daughters in these cases would kill themselves if they don’t transition.
It’s a recurring theme and since parents trust the doctors, they begrudgingly consent.
And in some states, parents will lose custody if they don’t consent.

I am fairly certain at the age of 17 she had the right to privacy re:medical decisions and neither she or the doctors were required to share any medical info or choices with her parents. This is per federal law.
They can leave the state to one that doesnt do this. Parents arent the victims. They doctor shop to find doctors that will do this.

You dont think they would also sanction doctors who won’t “bake a cake” for a kid who government has encouraged to have a sex change?

But they make this choice and you sign off on possibility that your nips won’t heal right. It’s breast surgery. Person may get paid from his insurance but not his fault. And if you’re a chick and take big doses of testosterone then guess what’s gonna happen. And if you’re a dude and you take big doses of estrogen then guess what happens. YOU MAKE THE CHOICE AND YOU DEAL WITH WHAT HAPPENS. DONT BLAME OTHERS FOR YOUR CHOICE.
I personally think these hormones should be legal to buy without a doctor. Do what you want but the blame is on you for what happens. For 18 and older.
This comment isn’t about trans, or sex. It’s about dealing with depressed people. I have a relative who is depressed. If I even mention the word she gets really upset. “I AM NOT Depressed!!!” They’ll blame anything else before admitting to depression. I can see where she’d much rather believe she was the “wrong sex” than admit to being depressed.
Frankly, I don’t understand it. I was diagnosed with depression and didn’t really believe it. They ran me through the standard tests and I scored well into depressed territory. I accepted treatment and each day I felt like a weight had lifted off my shoulders. I concluded I must have been depressed. (I never had suicidal thoughts. But I did suffer from ideation. That’s where an unpleasant thought circles through your head over and over.)
Turns out all I had to do to stop being depressed was quit my job. That did wonders. I had 28 people reporting to me and at any given moment a half dozen would probably have contributed to a fund to hire a hitman. It wasn’t me so much as the crazy-making Israeli company we worked for.
Is it really wrong that I’m starting not to have sympathy for some of these “victims?”

Doctor shopped or Googled like I just did and found 42 some pages of doctors on a webpage for transgender.

It’s that stigma about being mentally ill. They will leave it untreated rather than admit it because even in the 21 century it has a bad stigma.
Transgender surgery is not helping. Most are depressed, other mental illnesses or autism, and how are they “helped”? They are given the modern day lobotomy which is a transgender surgery.
The age of consent in Texas is 17.
