SoCal is everywhere! Even Guam looks like SoCal in Windtalkers.

The scenery of most TV shows back in those days looked like Southern California, no matter where they were supposed to have taken place. Foe example, I remember the TV series “Jim Bowie,” which was supposed to have taken place in Louisiana. We laughed at the mountain scenes.
