In L.A. it was from “The High and the Mighty,” which was — and still is — one of my favorite movies. Good book, too. Different stations may have had different themes.

“A great deal of the US looked like Southern California in the vintage Untouchables.”

The scenery of most TV shows back in those days looked like Southern California, no matter where they were supposed to have taken place. Foe example, I remember the TV series “Jim Bowie,” which was supposed to have taken place in Louisiana. We laughed at the mountain scenes.

Considering the fact Gates & Co plan to have civilization eating bugs, overgrown grasshoppers might not be a bad idea.
Us eating them rather than visa versa. Can't help but contemplate what will be done with all the 'tobacco spit' accumulated from these creatures. Recommend they use it to give us a means of defense (as it has been stated we are short of ammo). There are not enough white sheets to 'cover up' all which we have found to be remiss.
