Transgender Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine claims children CAN go through the 'wrong puberty' and argues gender-affirming care for kids is 'evidence-based' despite critics

Transgender Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine has claimed children can go through 'the wrong puberty.'

Levine, 65, endorsed providing gender-affirming care to minors, arguing that the treatment options are 'evidence-based.'

'The treatment options for gender-affirming care for transgender youth really are evidence-based,' Levine said.

She had been asked about the possibility of keeping transgender youth from seeking body-altering treatment until at least the age of 18.

Levine has previously said so-called gender-affirming care for minors has the 'highest support' from the Biden administration.

Levine is the highest ranking openly transgender federal official in the country and was made a four-star admiral of the public health service.

She tends to sport her admiral's uniform during public appearances. Levine, who grew up male, underwent puberty as a man, attended medical school, got married and became a father before deciding to transition.

Levine's support for gender-affirming care for minors would, in some cases, take away opportunities that Levine had living as a man for decades before transitioning, her critics have pointed out.

The ABC host asked Levine: 'What would you say to people who think they're being reasonable by saying 'why can't children just wait until they're 18?'

'Adolescence is hard and puberty is hard. What if you're going through the wrong puberty? What if you inside feel that you are female, but now you're going through a male puberty?' responded Levine.

The assistant secretary followed up by proclaiming that 'gender-affirming care is medical care.'

'Gender-affirming care is mental health care. Gender-affirming care is literally suicide prevention.

'A supportive adult can make all the difference. Now one might hope that might be a parent or a relative. Sometimes it's a teacher or a coach or a religious adviser or someone else in their life.'

Evidence based means it is open to interpretation and that you cannot believe your lying eyes. If it dresses as a woman, it must be a woman. We used to call them transvestites or cross dressers.

Public health officials don’t seem to have any background or degree in a health field. Our state public health officials don’t seem to have any degree at all. You would have to be uneducated to do things like push the study of sewage to prove an imminent Covid outbreak and force the closure of a private Christian school that remained opened during Covid.

There are tons out there.

The genetic disorders that can result in gender dysphoria are very rare (Klinefelters, Jacobs, CAH, NCCAH, hyperthyroidism, etc.). This represents a tiny portion of the population and not everyone born with these conditions will have GD, so the fraction is even smaller. The endocrine system not only drives sexual development, it drives brain conditioning as well.

That’s why I have repeatedly stated it is statistically impossible for all these people to be trans. They are misguided and are being misled.

In my child’s case, she has NCCAH. Her body produced an inordinately high number of free-floating adrenal androgens. They were being recognized by the adrenal receptors in her brain as testosterone, so when she hit puberty, her body began masculinizing naturally. She didn’t need hormones or surgery. Spent many thousands trying to find a cure and consulted with specialists in multiple fields.

With every idiot jumping on the trans bus, a condition that used to be met with compassion, prayers, and research to cure is now the cause celebre being shoved down everyone’s throats. The medical industry did a complete 180 towards “affirmation” and ran out or silenced voices to the contrary, despite vast evidence that this approach was contrary to known science (and not the fraud Fauci kind, either).

Being trans is a personal hellscape. The people who have it can never overcome the feeling of “otherness.” Their voices are being side-lined by self-appointed activists.

That is why, despite having a trans child, I am fighting them every step of the way. They pose an existential threat to children.
