His ability to stay focused while simultaneously admonishing those who slight him is not a flaw, in my opinion.
Bush would silently let people do, write, or say anything they wanted about him and he never responded. Never! It made him look weak, impotent and mute.
I prefer the Trump approach.

I don’t think he has a thin skin. It is a tactic he used in his business career. Intimidation and aggravation.
He got out of repaying hundreds of millions$ on loans this way.
