Well that’s why its usually best to decide how you are going to split the check BEFORE you order. Easy solution though, if you are one of the guys who spent $100 and don’t think you should be on the hook for splitting the bill with someone that spent $500, then ask for a separate check, pay your bill and be on your way.

How is this even an issue?
Just run out on the check.
It’s the (new) American way.

Wss that $4.6K for a total of all the party dinners, or all that money for just one plate? Either way, it sounds nutty and staggeringly overpriced.
But somebody must have agree to the price before the food was served. I can’t think of anything that delicious.
In fact, the price alone would very quickly make me lose my appetite.

OR you can ask Joe Biden to forgive your restaurant tab.

In the end, I’m willing to bet, the waiter didn’t get a tip.

The so-called Young Turks gaze at their navels and jibber jabber because they've little to say. But they say it a lot.

My wife and I just had dinner with 2 other couples. We split it 3 ways. There was no discussion before, but we agreed when the check came. $146 per couple (before tip). It was a nice restaurant and we had cocktails. This is how civilized people act.
At $4600, I’ll bet many bottles of Dom were involved.

Why does any disagreement always become a huge scene? At least it didn’t end up in a fight and a trashed restaurant.

For $4600, if I bought it now, I could easily eat for 3 years.
I can eat really cheap.
Shoot I could probably do 4 years.
Yeah a lot of rice 🍚 and beans.

It gets even more complicated when you demand to pick up the check after losing your wallet.
