Just heard Bongino quoting a few lyrics from Straight Outta Compton. Disgusting and obscene, even with Dan's self censoring 😖😖🤬 But rap is artistic expression conveying an important message.

CMT is run by the usual suspects. They have nothing in common with country music fans. They don’t live near them, they don’t work with them, they don’t worship with them, they don’t know them. Country music has all the same problems that pop music has, it has just taken a little longer to be subverted.

They’ve been MTV since 2000. And many inside Black Rock understand MTV destroyed CBS. First it was NASCAR, then it was short track racing, and sprint cars. We went from live Knoxville Nationals to now someone having it on iPPV with buffering that exposure was lost.
MTV destroyed country music, it’s Murder on Music Row. David Hall (CBS Nashville executive) said that. And there is a row in Charlotte that shows MTV’s demolition.

I never saw that video, but really like the song. Also like Aldean’s “Small Town” song.
It’s comforting to know that ALL of the Country genre hasn’t gone woke. So much of it is now, and Nashville has been corrupted along with it.

I’ve never watched CMT on TV. But on DirecTV music I only listen to Classic Country (Channel 808 and 808-1). It’s great.
