Boy reels in freaky fish with human-like teeth in Oklahoma. It wasn’t where it should be

A boy was in for a surprise when he hooked a piranha-like fish in an Oklahoma pond — a long way from its home. The pacu fish, recently caught by Charlie Clinton in a neighborhood pond, is native to South America and is considered an invasive species. So what’s it doing in Oklahoma?

I was an Alaskan crab fisherman in a previous life. One time I looked into our live tank to see this ugly wolf eel staring back at me. For .3 seconds, I swore it was a merman. I ran yelling from my post.

He probably wanted to eat a few human burgers, to get even with the folks who used to run all those "Arthur Treacher's" and "Long John Silver's" fast food joints.

Pacu used to be legal to have in an aquarium. I had several of them and they were mellow fish. They look almost identical to piranha and that’s how piranha would accidentally get imported to the US.

If you ever see one of those fish with Gold Capped teeth, that would be a haunting sight indeed.
