I saw tweets about this right after she went missing. It seemed weird to me how the family acted like they knew exactly what happened right away. How did they come up with their theory?

I hope the reporting on this sad event is accurate in all matters factual.
But, supposing it was a farce...why do it?
Could it have been a way to keep police busy? In a way it is like defunding police cause it makes them less available.

Or was it a distraction while some other illegal activity was planned or was carried out?

Or the Jussie Smollett race baiting scam?

Of course, the hostile MSM will play up the race baiting scam.
