I would stay away from Google Chrome unless you really like for them to have every detail of your online life. As for Brave, I’ve been using it for years now and am happy with it even with the occasional issue it has on certain websites. I expect that the issues you have encountered with Brave are associated with things going on behind the scenes which you probably would rather not function as you visit those sites. When it comes to legitimate websites which I expect are still collecting data I would rather not share (but have to in order to use the site) I use another browser... But only for that single use. IMHO, a browser that is performing a little slower because it is actually blocking unwanted things, is okay by me.

Thank you. With UBlock origin, clearing cookies regularly & having turned off tracking on Chrome, no personalized ads, I am willing to trade the possibility of my browsing history being kept for the performance. That may not be trus for others.

There is a Chromium browser that Google Chrome is based on but does not have the Googleization.
