Peaches come from a can
They were put there by a man
In a factory downtown
If I had my little way
I’d eat peaches every day
Sun-soakin’ bulges in the shade
I remember one time as a kid in the early 60’s, my mother bought one of those big, institutional sized cans of peaches, ostensibly to make a Peach Cobbler.
But when she got it home she noticed that the label said SPICED Peaches, not SLICED Peaches.
She made it anyways since we were so far from town, at that time.
Tasted good to me, but the cinnamon taste was a bit odd.............
