Offer these towns to South African Boers and the Yazidis.

I bet they could transform these regions in under 10 years.

Peter Santanello doesn't act like he's all that. His YT channel is excellent and he's produced excellent videos about the Reservations and various areas of the Country. I've never seen him be disrespectful to anyone he's spoken with and always obtains permission before recording. Many times, he'll relay conversations he's had with locals who did not want to be recorded. I've also seen him put the camera down out of respect for neighborhoods when he passes a house within it that looks shady. His aim is to show everyone what is really going on out there through the eyes of locals. It's all about education, for both him and the viewer.

Lots of poor folks, poor places, and poor economic times, for all kinds of people.

Poor doesn’t mean Crackhead, Methhead, pregnant at 12 yo, murdering rapist POS, all black, all white, or any other color.

When Poverty gets into your Soul, that’s when lives get destroyed.

And it ain’t Goobermint to the rescue.

The Shining City on the hill was supposed to be the Brite Shining example for other countries to emulate. People to look to for hope and guidance.
Folks need that personal example once again.

We used to get it from family, school, broad cultural teachings, or that old tattered book inspired by an outcast Jewish Carpenter.
“This is how you do it”.
Written down, and passed down for all to see.

Just watch out for the Charlatans. They are all about.

Jesus said to sell all your possessions and give them to the poor.

About 5 years ago did a road trip and got off the highway in West Virginia to a small town. I wanted the family to get a REAL lunch at a local diner or something. (Didn’t know what the town was like - but they must have SOMETHING.)

Well, they didn’t. A flood had just been through and taken out most of the buildings - including a Dairy Queen and a diner. And a bunch of houses, etc.

It was terrible the devastation.

Came across a small church with a HUGE barn/garage that they were using for emergency relief. People donating clothing and food, the wider church bringing in trucks full of water, etc. And the people sorting and stuff.

I pulled in to give a cash donation. The pastor (whose house was damaged by the flooding) greeted us and explained what was going on and invited us for hotdogs and hamburgers that were for the locals and volunteers. I didn’t want to but he insisted. He said the barn had water damage up about 6 feet but they got the sheetrock and insulation torn out, dried up and it was in use in a few days. He said that was what it was made for - emergency situations. Although he said the water had never been up this high before.

My two daughters met two other local girls their age and they were like long-lost friends and started helping sorting stuff and goofing around in the barn for awhile.

Yep - good people that know the real truth about “It takes a village.” Not the government coming to help you, but neighbors being neighborly.

The kid talking about the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest, got the date wrong of the battle. He said it occurred in 85 A.D but it was much earlier than that. 9 A.D.

But I give him credit for even knowing about it. 🙂

This is the first episode from 8 days ago:

The Scots and Irish settled the southeast. An area the English and other Europeans didn’t want to venture into. Hard country. They created an agricultural economy that feeds a lot of the east coast, but they are treated like lepers.

How about coal and tobacco stop going to NY and DC?

Thanks for the link. There was a time when everything the left knew about rural America they learned from the film “Deliverance.” This documentary is vastly more accurate. Good people. This is the America that Biden despises.

You’re welcome! If you’re open to it, look into his videos. I’ve learned an awful lot from him, especially about Native Americans and the way things really work on the reservations. It’s not exactly like we’ve been lead to believe and it’s shameful.

Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. There was also the Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres and Pete’s Dragon. Deliverance was just for beginners.
