I doubt that she would be even the least bit interested in spending any time with you.
She still cannot sing. None of her songs will be remembered like the oldies we listen to. A circus act.
Taylor Swift saved my life.
Years ago I was in a car accident that left me in a coma.
One morning a nurse turned on the TV and Taylor Swift was singing.
I got up and turned the TV off!
Aint no one going to listen to autotuned music...
Politics is downstream from culture. We ignore cultural happenings at our peril.
Suddenly, at exactly the same moment female author JK Rowling (Harry Potter books) took a stand against male to female gender transition and trans-males in female restrooms and on women sports teams, Swift went loud and crystal clear as politically Woke.
Very hard for me to understand a radical Left Turn by an intelligent successful woman after age 30.
You forgot Ronald Reagan!

i gotta say...shes got a hold on her fans i dont think ive ever seen before..especially for a female artist. Shes doing multiple nights at the biggest stadiums in the country...she just did 2 nights at Ford Field in Detroit, and the promoter said she could have easily did 3 more. The crowds are 90% female, and they know EVERY WORD TO EVERY SONG. No exxageration. This short video is Gillette Stadium i think...this is like 10 rows from the very top of the Stadium, and they are INTO IT!!...its like her Army, they do anything she told then too...
Seriously. I don't pay attention to pop music at all, but my 10 year old niece made sure to educate me as to exactly who she was when I mentioned that I wasn't familiar with the name about a year ago.
thats another thing...the ages of her fans..from like 7-10 year olds to 30’s and 40’s...never seen anything like it.
Yeah, it’s remarkable and kind of puzzling. I don’t think her fan appeal is fundamentally in her music which isn’t bad but is nothing special. There’s some other factor in play with her and her fans but I have no idea what it is.
Yes, yes, yes!
An economy that sucks ever more resources from productive investment to frivolous consumption is terrific!
yeah...shes been around awhile so its not a “new” fad type thing. I remember some years back she had to practically give tickets away because of poor sales. From what ive seen now, shes not a kid anymore, shes 33 now, and seems unable to keep a boyfriend...for some time, her songs are about “revenge” and how “strong” and “brave” she is....she even has a bit in this tour where she claims she feels like “the Man”. So, theres that “i dont need no man” crowd now that just lap it up...they found their hero and shes it....
Dang. I didn't see that on Ticketmaster!
Not hard to understand. No husband, no kids, and pressure for not being woke enough.

Super pop. It’s happened before mostly in terms of one hit wonders and in flashes by other successful artists but Swift can write multiple examples of it on every album. That makes her extremely unique in terms of songwriting. Super pop is what the top forty looks for. It’s what many thousands of song writers consciously try to churn out. An ancient example of this that fascinated me years ago was “Sugar Sugar” by the Archies. There didn’t seem to be anyone old (and I mean OLD) or young who didn’t blast this song and bop around when it came on. People who considered themselves to be heavy rock /prog rock hardasses blasted this tune. Whether you like her or not Swift has IT, whatever IT is that in terms of Pop song writing. I haven’t really listened to her albums but every single that I’ve heard from her hits the ear like Sugar Sugar.
LOL! For some reason, I believe it’s FJB, and not Tater Swuft who is saving the hotel and tourism industry by inviting the invaders into America and filling the hotels up with his illegal alien invader guests. Just an observation.
Back in the 60s we call that crap bubble gum music. Head Starters and Kindergartners love it.
