Sad for all involved. While I don’t know all details here and cast no uninformed judgements, my family (and many others, most maybe) has felt the impact of alcoholism and the destruction it brings. While AA is not for everyone it has helped many stop drinking and resume productive and meaningful lives. Prayers for healing.

The court provided an opportunity to file an amended suit, but Areu never did. The case was dismissed in November 2021 with prejudice.[12][13]
