While I expect that the historical accuracy of the film will be lacking, I will very likely go to a theater for the first time since the movie Midway to see Napoleon. I saw the latest Top Gun movie on streaming video and Greyhound on Apple TV and was heartened that good movies free from wokeism are still being made. It is likely that Napoleon will be a box office hit.
WATERLOO. One of my favorite films about Napoleon. the other is the 1966 Russian version of WAR AND PEACE. I have the Russian National Cinema Council version of both.
The KULTUR version is pan and scan with faded color and some scenes cut out. I don’t recommend it.
I have been contemplating who might fill this role in our future. Five years of chaos when it does break loose and then, who?
I will go see it too. A minor quibble - if the scene in the trailer is Napoleon meeting Josephine, Napoleon was 26 and Josephine was 32. Joaquin’s too old. But it looks like it is a good movie.
That's some serious CGI fatigue.

Saw this version in Sacramento in the 1980s. Silent , sepia screens and tri-split screen during battles. Over 4 hours. ling enough intermission to allow us to leave the theatre and have dinner. Interesting especially for the year.
What if Napoleon had a B-52 at the Battle of Waterloo? 🤔🤔🤔
What if Superman worked for Napoleon?
