They don’t even have to screen it.
If they theater management doesn’t like the movie for its politics. Don’t show it or say the projector for it broke.
No need to ruin a person’s movie experience or treat a customer poorly.

It’s a way to punish those who watch the movie, and discourage such bad think in the future, as well as countering any buzz or word-of-mouth the current viewers might spread.
