So let me get this straight:
Trump gets the Saudis to cancel the tournament in Saudi Arabia and move it to Florida.
And now we have to lambast Trump for being in bed with the Saudis? Huh?
Remember in 2017 the PGA moved the World Golf Championship from Trump Doral to Mexico. This move ended the 54 year PGA Tour affiliation with Doral.
Saudi Arabia is still a scheduled stop, Trump didn't get anyone to do anything, LIV was responsible for all decisions made. Otherwise, you were correct. 🙂 👍
As Schlabach noted, the three-day team championship was “originally scheduled to be played Nov. 3-5 at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. LIV Golf League officials have been working to move it back to Trump National Doral, where it was staged in the league’s inaugural season in 2022. The Jeddah event, now scheduled for Oct. 13-15, will be the final regular-season tournament.”

The CEO of LIV Golf is Greg Norman, an Aussie. Also, there will be eight LIV Golf events in the United States in 2023. The host cities include Tucson, Arizona; Orlando, Florida; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Washington, D.C.; Greenbrier, West Virginia; Bedminster, New Jersey; Chicago, Illinois and Miami, Florida.
And they are playing on a couple of Trump properties. Here’s the list of LIV tournaments in the US and around the world:
Feb. 24-26 at El Camaleón Golf Course in Playa del Carmen, Mexico
March 16-19 at The Gallery Golf Club in Marana, Arizona
March 31-April 2 at Orange County National in Winter Garden, Florida
April 20-23 at The Grange Golf Club in Grange, South Australia
April 27-30 at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore
May 12-14 at Cedar Ridge Country Club in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
May 26-28 at Trump National Golf Club Washington, D.C. in Potomac Falls, Virginia
June 30-July 2 at Real Club Valderrama in Sotogrande, Cádiz, Spain
July 7-9 at Centurion Golf Club in Hemel Hempstead, England.
Aug. 4-6 at The Old White at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia
Aug. 11-13 at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in Bedminster, New Jersey
Sept. 22-24 at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois
Oct. 20-22 at Trump National Doral in Miami, Florida
Nov. 3-5 at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia
Out of 14 listed events worldwide they are play on Trump property 3 times. (May, August, and October) Doesn’t sound like they are making a political statement. Looks like they like what they have had and want more. Hope the voters follow this thought process in the next election.
