Rheinmetall announces date of opening of first armored vehicle plant in Ukraine

The German defense concern Rheinmetall will open an armoured vehicle plant in Ukraine within the next 12 weeks.

The biggest arms manufacturer of Germany will also train Ukrainians to maintain tanks and other armoured vehicles produced at the plant.
The plant will reportedly be located in Ukraine’s west.
“[Ukrainians] have to help themselves — if they always have to wait [for] Europeans or Americans [to] help them over the next 10 or 20 years… that is not possible,” he said.
The company hopes that the plant in Ukraine will produce about 400 tanks a year. Moreover, it is also planned to produce and repair the Fuchs armoured carriers there.
Papperger stated that the plant may be protected from potential Russian attacks.
“There are a lot of factories at the moment which are producing military goods [in Ukraine]. It is just another one — and we can protect that also,” he said.
BACKGROUND: In May, the state Ukrainian defense concern Ukroboronprom signed an agreement about strategic partnership with Rheinmetall, which stipulated for creating a joint enterprise.
According to the agreement, Ukroboronprom and Rheinmetall will start their cooperation with technical maintenance and repairs of armoured vehicles that had been sent to Ukraine.
Rheinmetall aims to sign contracts for creating two more joint enterprises for ammunition and air defence production.
Rheinmetall is the biggest German armament manufacturer. According to its own data, the company is in the top three manufacturers of military equipment and ammunition in the Western world. At the moment, the exchange value of Rheinmetall is over €10 billion.

Exactly! I’ve seen a lot of deleted comments on these threads. It’s censorship.
I can understand if the comments are vicious personal insults and they cross the line, but most of what gets removed are just posts that oppose the pro-Ukraine narrative.
Even the comment in question here (“globohomo spam”) doesn’t seem to be in violation, but that’s Jim’s call, of course, not mine. In my opinion, these daily threads with excessive replies to oneself *are* spam.
I’ve noticed that when they quote Jim’s much-needed and appreciated post from yesterday, they seem to omit this part:

It’s not a matter of tolerance; it’s your methodology. There *are* periods throughout the day that you’re dominating the “Latest Posts” feed with excessive propaganda posts. Stanislav Rzhytsky, DEPUTY HEAD OF THE DEAPARTMENT OF MOBILIZATION, was shot dead in the city of Krasnodar, Russia. According to media reports, he was involved in missile attacks on Ukraine.

DETAILS: Anonymous pro-Russian Telegram channels have reported that 42-year-old Stanislav Rzhytsky went for a run at eight o’clock in the morning. He was ambushed near the Olimp sports complex by an unknown person who shot Rzhytsky four times in the back and chest and then fled the scene. The victim died on the spot from his injuries.
The Krasnodar administration confirmed to RBC the death of Stanislav Rzhytsky, deputy head of the department for mobilisation, saying that law enforcement agencies are investigating his death.
