Yeah. I think going nuclear would have been filing a complaint with the professional associations and the state. Call the cops. Make them file a police report for indeceny with a minor. This kind of crap has got to stop.

That too would have been a good thing, but I doubt the police would have done anything anyway. Because there is most likely no laws on the books they could enforce, and if they had just arrested her, the DA wouldn't take it to trial, and probably would have expunged any arrest record in order for her promise not to sue.

Usually nuclear gives a connotation of going all out with no regard for the consequences of actions taken. Going nuclear in Japan in WWII didn't have the same ramifications, as it would today, because we were the only nation possessing such a weapon.

Same holds true with this father, going nuclear because a doctor asked questions, even questions we find objectionable, and rightly so, would not go over well for the father.
