Surprisingly, I found that gamblers seem to hold opinions that result in odds on wagers that themselves express group opinion.

Question: Will Russia Control Any Formerly Ukrainian Territories Other Than LNR, DNR, or Crimea on September 1, 2023?

So, as far as gamblers betting their money on the results of the Ukraine War, you're right, it doesn't look good for Ukraine or the US Government betting taxpayer dough on a Ukraine win and Ukraine Border Enforcement while ignoring US Border Enforcement.
