So much for Elon being a champion of free speech!

Do anything, say anything, to make a buck. Remember, Elon is a libertarian capitalist to the core; he doesn’t have to live in China to care what that country or government does, as long as it doesn’t interfere with his notions of personal liberty. As long as he can live where freedoms are still being provided, i.e., the USA, he can do business with other countries regardless of their practices/systems. An elitist to the bone. A brilliant one, but in the end, still an elitist dabbling in the world as his oyster. Just sayin’.

A worthless pledge, that even he knows, he has no chance of success in that endeavor.

Off Topic:

I guess that steel cage judo match with Mark Zuckerman was not a serious challenge. Mark may be a reptilian dork, but he has years of experience in that martial art. He would twist tie Elon like a Belgian waffle.

Elon Musk Pledges To Enhance 'Core Socialist Values' In China

As have our elected leaders - Republicans and Democrats - for decades. As have all of our corporate heads for decades. This is not to excuse Musk, but rather to point out that kow-towing to Beijing is nothing new or unique for powerful Americans.
