In a June 26 interview with NewsNation, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) stated that multiple individuals had corroborated a whistleblower’s explosive allegations of a secret, decades-long UFO crash retrieval and reverse-engineering effort.
As the top Republican on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and a member of the so-called Gang of Eight, Rubio’s extraordinary comments carry particular weight.
[...]
Rubio stated that individuals with “firsthand knowledge or firsthand claims” are “saying to us what you’ve seen out there in the public record, whether it’s about legacy [UFO] programs or about current events.”
According to Rubio, the whistleblowers’ statements are beyond “the realm of what any of us [on the Senate Intelligence Committee] has ever dealt with.”
[...]
Echoing Rubio, Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.), who serves on the House Intelligence Committee, stated June 27 that “all sorts of [UFO whistleblowers] are coming out of the woodwork” and telling Congress that “they’ve been part of this or that [UFO] program.”
[...]
Beyond encouraging whistleblowers to come forward, the overarching goal of the Senate legislation is to integrate any “non-earth origin or exotic [UFO] material” secretly held by the U.S. government or private contractors into the broader scientific and “industrial base” for analysis. This mirrors concerns expressed by multiple officials that excessive secrecy prevents the robust scientific analysis required to fully understand the advanced, “non-human” craft allegedly retrieved in recent decades.
With the introduction of a companion amendment in the House, the intelligence bill is likely to be signed into law later this calendar year. Indeed, as Rubio makes clear, Congress is “taking [the UFO claims] seriously. It’s bipartisan. Everyone’s working on it.”

This is NOT a PsyOp. It’s the reverse. Info about this topic has been suppressed, and false flagged to make people reporting event see looney.
In the case of the whistleblower a few weeks ago, he is a veteran of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) where he held the highest clearance possible. Grusch filed a whistleblower complaint with the U.S. Office of the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) in order to share classified information with the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. He also filed a complaint alleging retaliation by his superiors over a similar complaint he made in 2021.
The ICIG found his complaint “credible and urgent” and advised Congress of this.
And, frankly, there weren't any liberal sources of note.
You mentioned coverage by the Washington Post. I couldn't find such. Do you have a link to the WaPo story?
As an aside, Ross Coulthart, the Australian journalist who has been covering this story, has spoken loudly and boldly about the failure of major media in the U.S. in covering this story. He alleges they are under the thumb of the Pentagon or the CIA (i.e., if they cover this story positively, they will be kicked out of the respective press pools).
Same for people who say it is a distraction.
The same with the Hunter cocaine story. It's their wish to debate the details (where was it found, how did it get there, etc.) so that it's talked about longer and uses up bandwidth to make the bribery and stolen election (very real and very important issues) fade away from memory.
Until someone planks down the body of a rapidly cooling alien, I will remain dedicated to human supremacy.
I reckon that makes me a Wihte Supremacist, LOL.

You don't know their motive unless you can read minds.
They may be reporting on this subject solely because it is a hot topic (i.e., it sells).
BTW, the New York Magazine article was pretty good for a liberal source. It started off negatively but then covered the issue pretty fairly in the body of the article.
The ontological shock for some of the people is going to be devastating!

especially on FR!
I picked up on this concept of the media narrative changing for distractions by listening to Rush. Rush would point out that the “drive by media” (his term) would harp on non-stories that seem to be non-political when it was clear that political discussions were really bad for the Dims.
One of the details brought out about why this has not been an open discussion for decades, is that the information “Gatekeepers” have done terrible things and even horrible things, and so fear prosecution for their crimes.
No further details mentioned.
CNN, MSNBC, the NY Times, WaPo, ABC have all refused to comment.
The one person who has done the best reporting on it is Tucker Carlson.
Distraction from what? No distractions are necessary. Joe and Hunter could snort coke and molest children in broad daylight and nothing would be said about it.
I’m sure you have noticed that the Senators and Congressmen who have been going on record about this are all Republicans. Rubio, Mike Gallagher, Tim Burchett, Anna Paulina Luna, Matt Gaetz to name a few.
Did the Apollo landings occur?
