Baris thinks desantis campaign one of the worse one's he's ever seen.
Charlie thinks upwards of $1 billion will be spent on the primary.
Both agree most candidates are running for their own reasons, and that was not to win and beat the democrats.

Where do you get off calling this farce of "debates" (which are not), a TV show put on by private organizations, with access controlled by an unconstitutional "Presidential Debates Commission", and which was only invented after almost 200 years of Constitutional government, "the American system"?
There are no "debates" in the Constitution. No "declaring", no "running", no "conventions", no "calling states" - in fact, there are no Presidential elections in the Constitution.
The only election that matters happens in December, it has has 538 voters 535 of whom are appointed by 50 State Legislatures.
THAT is "the American system".
If I thought it was the end of the democratic process, I would have referred to it as such.

Can't say it is worse than the Trump 2020 general election campaign - just let your opponent control the entire narrative from start to finish on many media platforms and don't respond despite a treasure trove of material both for yourself and against your opponent. Make it good and close when it doesn't have to be so ballot shenanigans can make the difference.
