I am thinking lefty trash did this
To: ChicagoConservative27
The “trash” identifies as landscaping, so it’s OK.

“and even barbecues”
I guess that’s a thing.
Where I am a local organization asks for volunteers to help cl up the beach on the 5th......this year on the local news I saw a guy picking up a small grill that still had food on it. SMH

City people just do not care or appreciate it. They come trash it and run.

After reading the articles and comments, I guess I won’t ask “why don’t people clean-up after themselves?”

ZERO respect. Then again, most probably don’t live in the area so NOT their problem. Kinda weird that the Tahoe folks that do the fireworks don’t seem to have a problem doing them over the water though. Lucky the lake is the clearest it’s been in decades. IIRC the average clarity goes down to about 71 feet.

City people just do not care or appreciate it. They come trash it and run. If trash was all they left behind, that would be great, but now they're spraying graffiti all over rocks and trees.

We might want to replace public schools with schools that teach people manners, respect for property, etc. And the ones doing this are the biggest believers in “environmentalism”.

Because they are nothing but slobs. Try imagining what the inside of their homes look like.

Guaranteed many were lefties. All talk, no action. All losers.
To: ChicagoConservative27
Not that much trash. It could have been over 4 tons. THAT would be a lot!

They don’t mind the millions of dollars these events bring to the area. Have to take the good and the bad with these events.
To: ChicagoConservative27
Yes, why do people think it is okay to litter?! This is the real environmental issue. And likely liberal and progressives. Take a look, for example, the aftermath of Trump events on the National Mall, as one good example. No trash.

Tahoe used to be pretty cool. Then the hipsters moved in, yuppies and guppies with their therapy dogs and yoga mats.

It is on holidays, and weekends during the summer, that you get to see urban-dwellers at their offensive best. Many of them are virtually, un-civilized slobs. They are the type that would throw a lit cigarette-butt out of a car window on a rural roadway on a hot summer day. They are the reason you fled the Bay Area or Al A for “literally” greener pastures. Don’t get me wrong, while the urbanites lack couth, the residents up in Tahoe and other forested areas, believe the terrain belongs exclusively to them. And, they would rather see you mauled and eaten by a bear rather than harm one of those often “invasive” predators, in preservation of your life. I try to avoid both species!

Take a look, for example, the aftermath of Trump events on the National Mall, as one good example. No trash. The same could be said for most of the Grateful Dead shows.

Correct.
Their cars, too, are usually a good indicator of how bad their “homes” are.

It’s a different crowd that comes to these places anymore. It’s weird. Something is going on.
No one is working and some pretty low class individuals are more affluent than their character would seem to allow.
