What if at least 47% of potential car-buyers don’t want an electric vehicle?
New Mexico is one of four states I haven’t visited but I didn’t realize it was filled with big cities with strong electrical infrastructure.
Nice. A zero emission car does not nor will ever exist. Not if we’re talking actual ZERO. 😁👍
LOL
So I have spoken
So it is written
So it shall be!
These loons think they can just order a billion dollars’ worth of infrastructure to appear overnight.
They live in their own, very twisted, reality.
It’s a 5.5 hour drive from Las Cruces to Taos.
Now imagine doing that in +100 degree temperatures.
With the air conditioner running.
No thanks, dying in the desert heat doesn’t sound like much fun.
So EVs are out then, right? They are most certainly not zero emissions vehicles. They are in fact”deposited elsewhere” emission vehicles.
Estimated benefit to the “climate” - ZERO!
Zero-emission vehicles, eh? Good luck with that... mind you, if they want to draw the dotted line around the vehicle in a way that makes it a net-zero calculation based on what is considered in and out (excluding the manufacturing of everything), I can play that game too. For my Chev Avalanche, I choose to draw my dotted line around everything except the tailpipes. There, I’m now as much zero emission (perhaps even better) than any EV car.
Why not 44% or 73%? Christ, just make it 100%, and while they are at it ban gasoline sales.
Those cars will rot on dealer lots. Fortunately he didn’t say 43 percent had to be sold.
At 43%, they figure no one cares. So they pass the law. Then they raise it to 89.5% and penalize anyone who has a gas car.
So the clueless DemocRATz in NM are going to require their citizens to purchase only the most expensive POS stuff on the market, eh? Yeah, that’ll work. Nope, it won’t, because the Repulsicans haven’t got the brains or b*lls to expose the DemocRATz for who they are.
NM is full of Democrats, let them all “eat cake”. They can walk or ride bikes. It will be educational.
Glad I don’t own an auto dealership in Albuquerque.
rev up the buses
Since EV’s are far from zero emission then it should be easy to prove in court they do not qualify as zero emission.
I’ve driven that route several times. Carry extra water, gasoline and an extra gun with you.
Car dealers in Amarillo, Lubbock, and El Paso to benefit.
