I don’t think “God functions according to science”, I think that is very belittling to say about God.
He allowed us to understand some things about how things work/are made and such, and those things we call “science”.
God does many things science still hasn’t figure out.
people of any age, any amount of evil can still have a miraculous change of heart and mind, some times in an instant it seems (though usually there are things leading up to it). I don’t think science can explain it because I surely can’t explain the change that happened for me like that.
Yes I agree many things seem to be fitting prophecy and quickening, but every generation including the apostles thought Jesus’ return would be in their life time.
the Bible clearly tells us not to get caught up in trying to figure when, but to be busy doing (helping people see a need for Jesus for salvation, eternity) and don’t let Him find you doing idle (unnecessary, self pleasing) type things.

My visions were in the early 1990’s. I thought the events would happen in 1994-1995 based upon the timeline in the visions.
However, these things are just happening now, 30 years later. There is a time distortion the higher you go. Time collapses when viewed from Heaven.
2nd Peter 3 : 8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.
The same is true of the memory of my NDE when I died and went to Heaven. It is always in the present and I reexperience it every time I recall the memory. It is always in the present.
It’s like driving down the road on a straight highway and looking out the window and seeing the moon. You then drive an hour and the moon is still in the same place as it is up so high.
While the day and time are only known to God, we were given signs to watch for to indicate when the time is near.
Think of it another way. Science functions according to God.
Science is the process of understanding "what is."
God is "what is"...He is the "I Am."
As Galileo said, "Mathematics is the language in which God has written the universe."
