I’m an old guy who enjoys time at the range. 90% of folk there need to work on the fundamentals, not fire away at a 15 yard silhouette.

Black women, in particular, are horrible shots. Most black guys are, too.

I celebrate their decision to do range work. Every gun owner is a potential 2A advocate (the ones that aren’t haven’t thought too hard about it).

PS Please don’t mistake me as being an expert about all this. I do know that when I was muttering under my breath about running the “dot torture” drill instead of performing mag dumps, that it made me better with a hand gun.

Little off subject (though the overall opinion that most blacks aren't putting in the work is right). I see the "rainbow of diversity" more prevalent at the range than anywhere else. Housewives learning the basics, old people acknowledging the aged bod no longer handles everything and liberals who survived recent mugging.

Some enterprising ass-hat invited his Cambodian business partners to the range to try out his collection of mostly big-game rifles. These five-foot-five and under guys lined up to fire these canons only to be hurled backwards by the recoil - some actually somersaulting. Yet those plucky dudes were even more enthusiastic and vied to be next to do it again.

These are the people we need opposed to the gimme-dats Biden is shooing in to replace us with.

Where I live, i need to show proficiency to get a CCL.
I got my CCL without range time...(was upwards of about 50 years since i fired a weapon), with a weapon that I rented, to qualify.

I finally bought a pistol, as my renewal is due.
I hired a guru to help me, has done a nice job so far.

i need more range time, though I’m pretty sure i can pass again.
I will try the “dot tortue drill”...even with a semi-useless arthritic left hand for shooting.
