Many studies have shown that the children of Muslim immigrants are, in general, more radical than their parents. So this is not a problem that time will take care of.

You learn what it was like to go through FFL basic, go into combat with the FFL airborne, and see how thorough their training was at the start of the 60’s. Also, you’ll read about the Algerian independence effort to make the French give up Algeria, the Pied Noir (Black Feet) that tried to keep Algeria a part of France, and the mutiny of Legion airborne battalion.
I hope everyone finds the book as fascinating to read as I did!
