I remember the “put the seat down” battle. My son and his friends came up with what they considered a wonderful solution. They put the seat down, AND the lid. Well, let me tell you, it’s darned annoying when that lid is down and you’re not expecting that, and you’re in a hurry lol. It looks all very polite and everything, but it’s more annoying than leaving the seat up!
I have trained youngest son to put the lid down or he would probably forget to put the seat down.
His bathroom is the guest bathroom, so I don’t worry about finding it down when in a hurry.

I trained all to put both lid and seat down, as that’s what I always do. Even with IBS!

Judy I KNOW exactly what you mean and I didn’t have a son or husband who put it down. I did it myself when cleaning. In the middle of the night I had to go bad and without a light on. Whoops!!!!
