We have cut out all sugars and grains from our diet....for many months, now.
NOT an easy lifestyle, for sure. But...we’ve adjusted.
(Hubby did cheat and have the homemade ice cream, w/cane sugar, yesterday....first time, in months!)
His arthritis/joints, as well and autoimmune issues have all but disappeared.
I primarily use Swerve and allulose, for any sweeteners we need. (Mostly, right at first.) The weight loss has been a bonus. We weren’t overweight, but, we do like the way our clothes are fitting, much better, now. Of course, his weight dropped much faster 😂 🙃 MEN :)
That would be hard. I have never been a big eater of sweets or grains, but when I do, I know my digestive system doesn’t like it. I feel better avoiding them, but I don’t completely do without.
About the only time I use sugar (or splenda) is when I eat oatmeal (and only a smidgion) Rarely ever have ice cream, sweets or diet sodas. I do love chocolate candy though so rarely get any as I would eat it all in one setting (maybe two)
I am like Cotton. My first meal is about 10:30-11:00 a.m. then I eat a dinner around 6:00-7:00. snack about 10:00 then go to bed about midnight.
I blame ALL my 9 months pregnant look on when my husband bought our 1st computer in 1996. Slowly the lbs came on as I do spend a LOT of time sitting at the computer and not doing much of anything else. And the older I get the harder it is to do anything else. DARN COMPUTER!
