The piggies sound interesting.
Especially since we’re now finding out that pigs raised commercially, for bacon/pork, have been receiving mNRA swine shots, for a couple of years, now.
Just read about another pig, called Iberico, that I’m looking into. Already pastured/processed. Confirming no shots ever given.

I just looked up the Iberico - sounds very good. I will have to check that out to see if they’re available in Canada. The kids had to drive for over 2 hours north to get these pigs they got. They’re thinking of breeding a few every year, as there are now so many people into homesteading, and concerned about the jabs as well. Also, just a nice pastured pig is more flavorful.
I also looked up the Berkshire pig, considered the best pork in the world. That’s another one I’ll have to check out. These little wooly ones are adorable. Curly wool lol.
Tired tonight - cleaned and blanched and bagged about a bushel of green beans. At least I can still be useful....even though I’ve officially (and literally) been put out to pasture!
Yes, I’ve tried the Berkshire bacon. Several years ago. Delish.

That’s quite the chore, putting up beans.
My big foodie accomplishment was homemade custard ice cream with TWO homemade sauces … scratch milk chocolate and cheesecake sauce.
A good time was had, by all. We had to let them run through the sprinklers, again, to wear off all of the sugar!

Hubs read, early on, about this therapeutic treatment law, and, vaccines. At the same time we were looking into the actual SAFE and EFFECTIVE treatments....HCQ/Ivm...and, doing research on these $hots.

Homemade custard ice-cream, you say? I think I’m going to need a recipe for this! It sounds absolutely divine! And those sauces.....Jane, this is a terrible thing to tell a girl about when she’s skipped supper (except for a few raw green beans) and was planning on going to bed hungry. I don’t have any ice-cream in the house....the only thing I have is tortilla chips with a hint of lime. BRB.
